Do you offer Tandem kayaks for the events?

No, the only type of kayak offered for the rentals are single kayaks.

How old do you have to be to attend the kayaking rentals?

People of any age can attend, as long as they can paddle for the full duration of the event on their own. Anyone under 16 years old who wants to attend must be with a parent or gaurdian, and have a signed parental wavier.

To attend by yourself you must be at least 16 years old. However, if you are under the age of 18 you must have a signed parental waiver in order to attend alone.

Is this kid friendly?

Our rentals are kid friendly, however since there are only single kayaks offered keep in mind that if you bring a kid or young person with you, they will have to paddle for the whole length of the rentals.

Do I need to have my PFD on the whole time?

Yes, your PFD must be worn the whole time while kayaking.

Can I bring my own PFD?

Yes, If you have your own PFD that you prefer to wear because it is comfortable you may use it during the rentals.

What happens if I book an rental and it rains?

If sever weather causes your kayaking experience to be canceled then you will be refunded.
